Subcarpathian This coming Sunday, December 8, 2024 Podkarpackie Centrum Nauki Łukasiewicz will become the arena for the final competition of the puzzle competition inspired by Ignacy Łukasiewicz – "Enlighten me". This unique event aims to combine learning with fun, developing creativity and logical thinking skills among young people. It will bring together the most talented young minds who have been struggling with logical and creative challenges inspired by the life and achievements of Ignacy Łukasiewicz - the inventor of the kerosene lamp and a pioneer of the oil industry.
From the start to the finish – a journey full of challenges
The “Enlighten Me” competition began as a virtual adventure, in which participants from grades 4–8 of primary schools in the Podkarpackie Province had to face demanding closed questions. In the next stages of the competition, open questions were introduced, giving the opportunity to demonstrate knowledge and creativity more fully. Three rounds of online puzzles took place from November 12 to 26, 2024. The summary of the online stage and the announcement of the results took place November 29th, the ranking of the best participants has been published on the competition website and on social media. Now it's time for the grand finale, where the best of the best will meet!

Attractive prizes await the finalists. The finalists in two age categories will receive diplomas and original dioramas with the image of the Łukasiewicz Podkarpackie Science Center. The best participants will receive cash prizes:
- 1st place: PLN 1,500
- 2nd place: PLN 1,000
- 3rd place: 500 PLN
