Wraz z nowym rokiem w województwie podkarpackim uruchomione zostały trzy nowe podstawowe zespoły ratownictwa medycznego, natomiast dwa pracują dłużej.

– The safety of residents is a priority for me, which is why I devote so much attention to the issues of health protection and strengthening the State Emergency Medical Service system – said Teresa Kubas-Hul, Voivode of Podkarpacie, during today's press conference in Głogów Młp.
– I care about providing fast and effective help to those in need by professional teams with modern equipment. New ambulances are also a response to the greater demand in an aging society.

The functioning of the Medical Rescue Teams in the region is constantly being analyzed, especially in terms of ensuring the time of arrival at the scene of the incident, as well as the number of departures. Until now, there were 101 Medical Rescue Teams (MRT) in Podkarpacie - 24/7 and temporary, but this number has increased.
As of January 1, 2025, three new basic Emergency Medical Services have been launched:
- in Głogów Małopolski – ready to provide health services 16 hours a day, i.e. from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.,
- in Przecław – ready to provide health services 24 hours a day,
- in Szyperki in the Jarocin commune – on standby to provide health services 12 hours a day, i.e. from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
From 1 January 2025, the time of readiness to provide health services for two Emergency Medical Services has also been extended:
- stationed in Dębica – from 16 to 24 hours a day,
- stationed in Sieniawa – from 16 to 24 hours a day.
